A turning point
The 20th International Conference for Holistic Vision is a turning point, the beginning of a new stage of development in natural vision improvement
We would like Internet to play a more important role in our work, by making all the papers of the previous conferences available on the web, in as many languages as possible.
Pictures on CD-ROM will be made available to future organizers and associations and to anybody interested. We have found that showing images is a powerful way to inform people of our work.
DVDs and videos are going to be made. Again, they can be used in schools, seminars and retreats. The organizers for the next conferences will find them particularly useful.
Simultaneous translation is going to be available in at least three languages (English, Italian, German)
New countries are joining us, bringing new energies, ideas and styles. There is a growing request for more international coordination, even for an international association. This could provide greater possibilities for international exchange and "joint ventures" to sow more seeds in natural vision improvement.
Some important decisions concerning the future of vision improvement are going to be taken in Genoa
A questionnaire will be distributed at the conference. The aim is to paint a more precise picture of vision improvement and what practitioners and participants expect from it, which themes are considered important, which approaches etc. A precious contribution for associations, practitioners and organizers of future events.
The conference will definitely be a playful and joyous event. But we also expect the papers to be a collection of high level documents, not just advertisements. They will be published in at least three languages: Italian, English and German and handed out at the conference. French, Spanish (and Portuguese?) translations may follow.
Genoises are traditionally known to pay great attention to money.
This year, we managed to obtain a low price for the conference fee.
Moreover, Genoa is easily accessible from Germany, Switzerland, France,
Spain by car or by train at a reduced cost. Low cost airlines connect many
towns in Europe
